In Bulgaria you choose from the following durations, with a start date you set yourself: the 1-day vignette (valid on the chosen day until 23:59); the weekend vignette (from Friday 12:00 to Sunday 23:59); the 7-day; the 30-day; the 3-month; and the annual (1-year) vignette. All durations except the weekend start on your chosen date and expire at 23:59 on the last valid day.

The weekend vignette does NOT mean “any 3 days”, but a fixed interval set by law: it is valid from Friday 12:00 to Sunday 23:59. It's the most cost-effective option if you cross Bulgaria in a single weekend. If you leave on Thursday or return on Monday, choose the 7-day vignette, which covers the whole period.
